24 Bike And Swingset What Is The Difference In Power Of A 15 Gear Mountain Bike And 24 Gear Mountain Bike?

What is the difference in power of a 15 gear mountain bike and 24 gear mountain bike? - 24 bike and swingset

I ask this because I'm going up the hill. How effective is the bicycle wheel is 24 to 15 teams to climb the mountain? Can someone give me the exact amount of the maximum power of the two wheels?

The gears of a bike is designed around the physical relationships - for example, enter a tower on the chain, back to the furthest from the plate against the first role to be most laps of the block, you d 'First Voyage. If the opposite happens slower front pulley and rotates faster than the pulley back again, but a higher speed - if the lever is the same length, but at a cost of more effort. In this case, the lever, crank is, will remain the same in every revolution. Therefore, for the speed of the wheel, the more needs of the role at the front and the smallest player on the back. This simplicity does not take into account geographic differences - like hills - the wind - and the differences Rider - thick or thin - strong or weak.

The action should be most interested in - is the number of inches your bike can travel with a twist of the handle - and should be approximately calculated as follows:

COG FRONT / REAR X gear diameter in inches.

Therefore

52 versus 15 in the rear with a diameter of 27 inchesis a wheel 93 inches - or 93 inches of travel for a round handle.

and 42 in front and 23 on the back offers a speed of 49 inches

Power is quite another.

Bicycles do not have the power to use it. And takes as a cyclist in the Tour de France a little over 1 / 2 HP consistently. Sprinter early May go up to 3 hp for a short duration, and a server from more than 400 watts.

Not all of the 15 machines and 24 engines are the same. the radius of the front and rear wheels, its place, the design of the structure and all equipment will play a role. I suggest you find a good bike shop where they know that their actions and who answer to your question for you. If the bike well trained, then you can get a faster throughput with less hardware than a bicycle at low cost with a lot of equipment.

The difference is 9 speed options. I am not aware, 5-speed cassette, but with a speed of 8 is very common. If the chainring and cassette sizes can know gear ratios are calculated.

I think that the greater the amount of the progress of the subtle changes can be made. As you go up sometimes lost the feeling of a gear, but it rises and its very close. I think, 24 would give more opportunities, 15
